The Flowered Cluj Movement organised by the Cluj/Kolozsvár Town Embellishment Society was officially closed following the award ceremony on the 10th of October. Within the framework of the event, the winners in the categories of the Most Beautiful Balcony, Window and Facade were awarded, and special prizes were given.
The prizes for the winners of the Flowered Cluj Movement competition initiated by the Cluj/Kolozsvár Town Embellishment Society will be awarded on the 10th of October, at 18:00 in the exhibition hall at 4 Iuliu Maniu (Szentegyház) St.
On the 20th of September, the Jury commissioned by the Cluj/Kolozsvár Town Embellishment Society took its decisions about awarding the prizes in the competition announced by the Flowered Cluj Movement for the categories of Most Beautiful Balcony, Window and Facade. Now we are ready to reveal the winning applications!
Thank you all for answering our call, for your true interest, and for all the balconies, facades and windows covered with geraniums, petunias and other colourful flowers. The call for applications is now finally closed, but the best part is just about to start! Around the 10th of September the jury will convene, and determine which of the proposals are the worthiest to be awarded. We are very much looking forward to deliver the prizes.
Within the framework of the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj, Éva Tóthfalussy Veress will be the guest of the Flowery Cluj Booth of the Cluj/Kolozsvár Town Embellishment Society.
The Flowered Cluj Movement arrives at the 8th edition of the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj with its own booth. Flower arrangement with landscape architect Kinga László is among its programmes, taking place between 1-3 pm on Thursday. We are now talking to her, asking her about flower arrangement techniques and herself.
During the 8th edition of the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj, the initiator of the Flowered Cluj Movement, the Cluj/Kolozsvár Town Embellishment Society will also be present in Kogălniceanu Street with its own booth and programmes. The programmes of the association can be visited between 17–19 August.

A novel initiative started in the Treasure City. Beginning with July and during the following two months, the Flowered Cluj Movement wishes to adorn with flowers the windows and balconies of downtown Cluj with the help of its citizens, while in the outskirts, they want to please passers-by by well-kept green areas in front of the houses and the blocks of flats.
